There aren't enough words to describe how good my experience here was, all their staff are so detail oriented and even the girl who attended was so kind and always had a shiny smile. If you wanna try some really tasty Mexican food, take a look at this awesome restaurant. I'll be back soon too.

I was feverishly looking through the myriad of Mexican food options in Modesto, trying to find authentic Mexican. There were so many options that had really good reviews. (4.4 stars or better) so I was worried that I might make the wrong choice, and go somewhere that either wasn’t authentic, or just wasn’t good. Boy, did I make the right choice. Mariscos y Taqueria El Capitan is as authentic as you can get, and the food is amazing. They have a full sauce/salsa bar with limes (necessity) The place was super busy but the staff was working hard and were all over it! I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic Mexican food in Modesto. This place is it! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The owner helped us and made sure we were well taken care of, definitely would love to come by again, we’re only in the area for a business trip. For this restaurant, we’ll definitely make a two hour trip for. The food was great, I had a Mojarra and it was extremely juicy and full, other places usually get frail fishes but this one was great!
